How it works
Rekof 5 mg/10 mg Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cetirizine and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide. Cetirizine is an antiallergic which reduces cough associated with allergies by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger histamine. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.

Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers or asthma. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications, e.g. anti-depressants. Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement and have cough for more than 7 days.
