Redivent Respules is a fast-acting bronchodilator used to treat symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) such as coughing, wheezing, and feeling short of breath.

Introduction

Redivent Respules gives quick relief from breathing problems when you need it. In most cases, you will be given another inhaler to prevent your symptoms (a preventer) to use with this. This medicine works quickly and the effects can last several hours. You can take it at any time of day, but only use it when you notice symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and tightness in the chest or you know that you are going to do an activity that can make you breathless.

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Twist off the top of the respule/transpule and squeeze all the liquid into the nebulizer. It should be used right away after opening.

Alcohol Warning

Redivent Respules may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Breastfeeding Warning

Redivent Respules is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Redivent Respules may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Redivent Respules is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. This makes breathing easier.

Talk to your doctor about it Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart diseases or if you experience heart racing, headache, or chest pain
