Amisulpride Aripiprazole Chlorpromazine Cilostazol
Racderm 1% Dusting Powder is an antifungal medication which treats skin infections. It works by killing the fungi on the skin by destroying their cell membrane.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Keep your feet clean and dry, particularly between the toes. Cut your nails short and prefer open-toe shoes for everyday use. Keep your vagina clean and dry. Use a separate clean towel for the infected area. Take a shower with antifungal soap after gyming or severe sweating. Never share your socks, shoes, and towel with others. Apply a sufficient amount to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin. Avoid getting it in the eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Inform your doctor if the infection does not clear up even after four weeks of treatment. If used topically on the nipple area, wash breasts before feeding your child. Do not apply Racderm 1% Dusting Powder on cuts or burns. Keep away from children.
Racderm 1% Dusting Powder is an antifungal medication. It is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm (a skin infection causing a red scaly rash on different parts of the body), athlete's foot, fungal nappy rash, and fungal sweat rash. It also relieves irritation of the vulva (external thrush) and irritation occurring at the end of the penis, which may be associated with thrush.
Racderm 1% Dusting Powder is effective against Trichophyton species, a fungus that causes ringworm infection, athlete's foot, and jock itch. It is also effective against Candida, a type of yeast commonly causing vaginal thrush (candidiasis).
Symptoms of skin infection, such as itching or soreness, should improve within a few days of treatment. However, signs like redness and scaling may take longer to go away. Do not stop applying this medicine before the duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel better.
Always wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying Racderm 1% Dusting Powder. If using the cream for an infected foot, wash and dry the feet thoroughly before applying the cream, especially between the toes, before applying the cream. Apply Racderm 1% Dusting Powder thinly and evenly and gently rub it onto the affected areas two or three times daily.
The duration of treatment depends on the type of infection. For tinea infections, treatment is continued for one month, and for Candida infections, it's at least 15 days. Do not stop the treatment prematurely even if you start to feel better.
Racderm 1% Dusting Powder is only safe for children when used as prescribed by a doctor. It should be given to children in the correct dose only for the prescribed duration. Minor side effects may occur, but these are usually not bothersome.
Keep the affected skin areas clean and dry but avoid excessive rubbing. You may experience itching; however, refrain from scratching as it can damage the skin and spread the infection.
Racderm 1% Dusting Powder might reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives like diaphragms and condoms. If using the cream on the vulva or penis, you should use alternative methods of contraception for at least five days after applying it.
