Short Description

Qflox 200 Tablet is an antibiotic that helps treat bacterial infections, such as urinary tract infections, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia).

Introduction

Qflox 200 Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Take it with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. You may experience nausea and stomach pain as the side effects of this medicine. These are usually temporary and resolve on their own, but do consult your doctor if they bother you or persist for a longer duration.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Qflox 200 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Warning

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Qflox 200 Tablet.

Breastfeeding Warning

Qflox 200 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Pregnancy Warning

Qflox 200 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby.

Qflox 200 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Your doctor has prescribed Qflox 200 Tablet to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Discontinue Qflox 200 Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
