Potassium Nitrate works by calming the nerves in the teeth to reduce sensitivity from hot and cold foods. Sodium Monofluorophosphate works by making the teeth stronger and preventing decay caused by bacteria. Triclosan kills the harmful bacteria and fungi by attacking their outer covering.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Pycident Toothpaste may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
