Prydom-DSR Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), intestinal ulcers, and irritable bowel syndrome.

Introduction

Prydom-DSR Capsule is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Prydom-DSR Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.

Side Effects

The most common side effects are nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, headache, weakness, and flu-like symptoms.

Alcohol Warning

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Prydom-DSR Capsule.

Breastfeeding Warning

Information regarding the use of Prydom-DSR Capsule during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.

Pregnancy Warning

Prydom-DSR Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Prydom-DSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole.

Do not consume alcohol while taking Prydom-DSR Capsule as it can increase the risk of stomach damage. Long-term use may cause weak or broken bones. Take adequate intake of dietary calcium and vitamin D or their supplements. Do not take Prydom-DSR Capsule for longer than prescribed.
