Introduction

Prugonist 2 Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you're given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Prugonist 2 Tablet is a selective 5-HT4 receptor agonist that has high intrinsic activity. It indirectly stimulates the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger that increases the motility of the intestine and treats even chronic (long-term) constipation very effectively.

Prugonist 2 Tablet helps treat chronic constipation and improve bowel movements when laxatives have failed to provide adequate relief It can be taken with or without food It may cause diarrhea. Drink plenty of water and inform your doctor if it bothers you. Inform your doctor if your constipation has not improved even after four weeks of taking this medication.
