Protar Ointment is a topical medication that contains salicylic acid and coal tar. It is primarily used to relieve skin conditions such as psoriasis, dandruff, scaling dermatoses, neurodermatitis, hyper keratotic skin condition, cracked heels and palmoplantar keratoderma. It works by helping to remove and soften thick, scaly patches of skin.

Apply to the affected area two or three times a day until the lesions have disappeared.
