Introduction
Propyzole NF Cream is a combination medicine used to treat various types of fungal skin infections. It minimizes symptoms of skin infection such as redness, swelling, itching, etc. by acting against the infection-causing microorganisms. It is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor.
Directions for Use
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
How it works
Propyzole NF Cream is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Clotrimazole which treat fungal skin infections. Clobetasol is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
Quick Tips
Propyzole NF Cream may take several weeks to show its action. Keep using it as suggested by your doctor. Wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat it dry before applying Propyzole NF Cream. Apply it as a thin layer onto clean, dry, unbroken skin affected by an infection. It may cause minor burning, stinging or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas. It is advisable not to touch or scratch the infected area as it can worsen the situation.
