Introduction

Pridex Tablet is used in the treatment of gastric problems like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, or indigestion. It also prevents acid reflux (acid going up to the food pipe) and hence helps in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pridex Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Pridex Tablet is a atypical antipsychotic. It works by increasing the release of acetylcholine (a chemical messenger). This increases the movement of stomach and intestines and prevents reflux (acid going up to the food pipe).

Take it as per dose and duration suggested by your doctor. Pridex Tablet may cause dizziness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult with your doctor immediately if you have absence of periods, abnormal milk secretion or changes in sexual desire, fever, or muscle stiffness.
