Pre Aldonil 150mg/150mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat diabetic nerve disease. It reduces pain and protects the nerve fibers from damage. This medicine also promotes regeneration of nerve cells. It is used along with other blood sugar lowering medications in order to prevent further nerve injury.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pre Aldonil 150mg/150mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Pre Aldonil 150mg/150mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Epalrestat and Pregabalin which treat neuropathic pain. Epalrestat is an aldose reductase inhibitor. It blocks the accumulation of sorbitol in cells which causes diabetic nerve disease. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.

Take it only as per the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Adherence to antidiabetic therapy can delay the onset of or prevent diabetic nerve disease. Inform your doctor if you have: Cut or sore on your feet that is infectious or not healing, Burning or tingling sensation in arm or feet that hamper your routine activities, Trouble in digestion, urination or sexual functioning, Dizziness To prevent diabetic nerve pain, wear proper footwear and examine your feet every day to detect lesions early.
