Frequently asked questions
Why has my child been prescribed the combination of two antibiotics?
A combination of two antibiotics is prescribed when a bacterial infection caused by resistant bacteria is suspected. Giving a combination of two antibiotics increases the efficiency of the medicine and helps in killing the resistant bacteria.
Can I give Pramoclox Kid 125mg/125mg Tablet to my child repeatedly for a long time?
Giving your child Pramoclox Kid 125mg/125mg Tablet for an extended period can increase the risk of fungal infections (oral thrush) in the mouth and severe gastrointestinal infections (superinfections). Therefore, do not alter the dose or duration on your own. Give Pramoclox Kid 125mg/125mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by their doctor, and consult with them if you have any concerns about treatment duration.
Are there any possible serious side effects of Pramoclox Kid 125mg/125mg Tablet?

Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Pramoclox Kid 125mg/125mg Tablet?
Antibiotics usually do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not receive vaccines until they recover from the illness. Once your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.
The mucus coming out of my child's nose is yellow-green. Is it a sign of a bacterial infection?
In the common cold, the mucus changes color and thickens over time, but this does not automatically mean your child needs antibiotics. Common cold symptoms often last for 7-10 days. If they fail to clear up within that timeframe, consult with your child's doctor.
Is Pramoclox Kid 125mg/125mg Tablet safe for children suffering from infectious mononucleosis?
