Introduction

Polynerve Capsule is a vitamin preparation that is essential for the development of the nervous system. It is a unique combination of Benfotiamine, Methylcobalamin, Folic acid, and Alpha Lipoic Acid. This preparation is recommended to treat or prevent beri-beri, thiamine deficiency, and diabetic neuropathy. Benfotiamine increases intracellular thiamine diphosphate levels, a cofactor of transketolase, which directs advanced glycation and lipoxidation end products (AGE's, ALE's) substrates to the pentose phosphate pathway, thus reducing tissue AGE's. Methylcobalamin is needed for the healthy development and sustenance of our circulatory, immune, and nervous systems. Alpha-lipoic acid is a naturally occurring compound that serves vital functions at the cellular level, such as energy production, and helps to prevent certain kinds of cell damage in the body.
