Pilo AKT AD Shampoo is a combination of two antifungal medicines: Ciclopirox and Zinc pyrithione which treat dandruff. These medicines work by stopping the growth of fungi that cause dandruff by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.

Leave Pilo AKT AD Shampoo on for 3-5 minutes on your scalp before rinsing with water. Take care to avoid getting it in your eyes. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Stop using Pilo AKT AD Shampoo and inform your doctor if you notice any irritation or any other skin infection. Your usual shampoo can be used as necessary between treatment with this medicine. Do not use Pilo AKT AD Shampoo more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
