Introduction

Pernex-Plus Gel is a combination of Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide, which treats acne (pimples) by preventing accumulation of sebum, unblocking pores, and allowing natural exfoliation of the outer layers of skin. Benzoyl Peroxide also kills acne-causing bacteria. It is used for external use only and should be applied in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.

Pernex-Plus Gel is a combination of two medicines: Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide. Adapalene is a form of vitamin A and Benzoyl Peroxide is a keratolytic medicine. Together, they prevent accumulation of the sebum, unblock the pores, and allow natural exfoliation of the outer layers of skin. Benzoyl Peroxide also penetrates into the skin and kills acne-causing bacteria.

Apply it to the affected area once a day at bedtime. It makes your skin more sensitive toward sunlight. Apply sunscreen or wear protective clothing while stepping out. Avoid getting it in your eyes or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately. Do not apply to broken, sunburnt, or sensitive areas of skin. Inform your doctor if you notice unusual dryness, redness, and peeling of the skin.
