Percompa 6mg Tablet belongs to a class of medicines known as antiepileptics. It is used to treat epilepsy (seizures) in people who have repeated seizures (fits).
Tablet
Percompa 6mg Tablet is taken by mouth with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day, preferably before going to bed. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor as it has a high potential of habit-forming. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may increase seizure frequency.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Percompa 6mg Tablet.
Percompa 6mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Percompa 6mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Percompa 6mg Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It prevents seizures in patients with epilepsy by blocking a receptor in the brain known as the glutamate receptor thereby suppressing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Take a healthy diet along with regular exercise. Practice yoga every day. Get enough sleep at nighttime. Limit the use of screen time such as mobile/ laptop. Take your medication on time. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Percompa 6mg Tablet affects you. It may cause weight gain. Hence monitor your weight regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
