Pedin 40mg Tablet is commonly prescribed to prevent stomach ulcers and heartburn caused by painkillers. It should be swallowed whole with water before or after a meal. The medicine must be taken as advised by the doctor. It typically relieves indigestion and heartburn within a few hours. If symptoms persist or worsen after 14 days, consult your doctor. It is not recommended for severe stomach disease. Eating smaller meals more often and avoiding spicy or oily foods can help the medicine work better. Most people do not experience side effects, but common ones include headache, dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhea, and constipation. Consult your doctor if side effects persist. Interacting Medicines

Efavirenz Nevirapine Acarbose Atazanavir

Pedin 40mg Tablet is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist. It works by reducing the acid produced in the stomach, helping to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Pedin 40mg Tablet is well tolerated with a low incidence of side effects. Take it with or without food. If taking other medications for acidity, take them 2 hours before or after Pedin 40mg Tablet. Avoid soft drinks and citrus fruits like orange and lemon. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist after 2 weeks. Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease. Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
