Introduction
Pdx Tablet is a prescription medicine that should be taken as per the prescription. It should be taken with food, but at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. The medicine should be swallowed as a whole without crushing or chewing. Do not consume more than the recommended dose as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. The common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, rashes, etc. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. Alcohol Warning

How it works
Pdx Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Amoxycillin and Tinidazole. Amoxycillin kills bacteria by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive. Tinidazole kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Quick Tips
Pdx Tablet must be taken with food at the same time every day. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Discontinue Pdx Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Do not drink alcohol during or for 2-3 days after treatment with this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have liver disease.
