Pdon OZ Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that is given to children to effectively treat a wide range of bacterial infections that may occur in the teeth, lungs, gastrointestinal infections, urinary and genital tract.
Pdon OZ Syrup should only be given to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses.

Pdon OZ Syrup is an antibiotic consisting of ofloxacin and ornidazole as its active ingredients. Both these ingredients tamper the bacteria's DNA. Thus, it kills the infection-causing bacteria, stopping the infection and the bacteria from growing further without making them resistant to further treatment.

Pdon OZ Syrup can interfere with cough and cold medicines. One of the active ingredients of Pdon OZ Syrup can interact with alcohol-containing medicines like cough syrups and can cause adverse effects. Don’t give your child any medicines along with Pdon OZ Syrup without consulting the doctor.
Though an extra dose of Pdon OZ Syrup may not cause severe harm, it is still important to consult a doctor if you have any concerns. If you are experiencing increased severity of your symptoms which are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
No, do not stop taking Pdon OZ Syrup and complete the full course of treatment even if you are feeling better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
Take Pdon OZ Syrup as soon as you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.
You should avoid alcohol since it may add to the dizziness and sleepiness caused by Pdon OZ Syrup. Consult with your doctor, if you are not sure about the effects of the medicine.
Keep this medicine in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.

The use of Pdon OZ Syrup is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to ofloxacin or to ornidazole or any medicine which belongs to the quinolone or nitroimidazole group of antimicrobial agents.
