Introduction

The P+caRe Comfort Sling and Swathe is designed for immobilization of the shoulder following surgery, injury, or cast removal. It is made with cotton and PU foam and features two round straps, an over-the-shoulder with slide buckle, and a body strap for desired strength. The sling can be used on either arm and comes in a universal size.

To use the P+caRe Comfort Sling and Swathe, separate the sling from the swathe and place the swathe to one side. Hold the sling and place the arm in the sling so that it is centered between the elbow and fingers. Release the hook closure on the straps and place them over the neck. Hold the right strap and bring it across the center of the back and under the left side of the sling. Secure the hook to the sling. Hold the left strap and bring it across the center of the back and under the right side of the sling. Secure the hook to the sling. Adjust the sling buckles to keep the elbow at 90 degrees and hold the swathe to attach the hook on the front of the sling. Wrap the body strap around the affected arm.
