Introduction

The P+caRe Comfort Shoulder Immobilizer is a supportive device designed to provide immobilization and support to the shoulder area. It is used to treat various conditions such as traumatic or post-surgical immobilization, shoulder surgery, fracture, and soft tissue injury. The device features an adjustable wrist cuff, a shoulder strap that can be positioned as needed, and is suitable for use on either the left or right arm.

Open up immobilizer, release all contact closures and remove and set aside cuff and long shoulder strap.Hold the widest portion of immobilizer, wrap around waist and secure hook and loop closure.Ensure wrist/forearm cuff is in front of the body and secure humeral cuff onto the body of immobilizer just above the elbow.Place the upper arm in the cuff, secure and attach the long shoulder strap to the front portion of immobilizer and bring over the unaffected shoulder and secure back of immobilizer
