Parawal 125mg Syrup is a widely prescribed medicine that helps to ease pain and bring down high body temperature (fever). In children, it treats conditions like headache, toothache, body ache, fever, and common cold.
Give Parawal 125mg Syrup to your child with food or milk to prevent an upset stomach. Your child should not take more than four doses of this medicine in 24 hours, so wait up to 6 hours between doses. Never give any other medicine formulation containing paracetamol along with this medicine as that may lead to serious side effects.

Parawal 125mg Syrup possesses analgesic (pain-reliever) and antipyretic (lowers body temperature) properties. It provides relief by blocking certain chemical messengers and pathways in the brain that send signals about pain and fever.

Parawal 125mg Syrup usually starts working within 30 to 60 minutes and shows its peak effect within 3 to 4 hours. You may start to see improvement in your child's symptoms after a few doses, but it’s important to continue with the prescribed dosage as directed by your doctor.
If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking Parawal 125mg Syrup, repeat the dose and continue as per your doctor’s instructions. If it has been more than 30 minutes after taking Parawal 125mg Syrup and your child vomits, don't repeat the dose. Please consult your doctor.
If your child has a temperature of 38.3°C (101°F) or higher, you can give this medicine. However, it's important to always consult your doctor before using any medication on your child.
If the fever doesn't come down after a few doses, there might be an underlying infection (virus or bacteria). It's best to consult your doctor for specific treatment.
Overdosing may cause serious liver and kidney damage. Do not exceed four doses in 24 hours. Ensure a minimum gap of 4-6 hours between each dose. It’s essential to discuss your child's medical history with their doctor before administering this medication.
Your child should follow a balanced diet unless advised otherwise by your doctor. Avoiding specific foods and nutrients can increase the risk of toxicity from medication.
