Oral Suspension
Paracliff 250 Oral Suspension is a widely prescribed medicine that helps to ease pain and bring down high body temperature (fever). In children, it treats conditions like headache, toothache, body ache, fever, and common cold.
Give Paracliff 250 Oral Suspension to your child with food or milk to prevent an upset stomach. Your child should not take more than four doses of this medicine in 24 hours, so wait up to 6 hours between doses. Never give any other medicine formulation containing paracetamol along with this medicine as that may lead to serious side effects. Inform the doctor if your child has liver disease as the dose may need to be adjusted. If Paracliff 250 Oral Suspension does not seem to be helping your child, contact your doctor for advice. Do not give extra doses.
Paracliff 250 Oral Suspension possesses analgesic (pain-reliever) and antipyretic (lowers body temperature) properties. It provides relief by blocking certain chemical messengers and pathways in the brain that send signals about pain and fever.

You can use this medicine if your child has a temperature of 38.3°C (101°F) or higher. Always consult your doctor before administering the medicine.
If the fever doesn't come down after initial doses, it may be due to an infection (virus or bacteria). It is advised to contact your child’s doctor for specific treatment.
Do not exceed four doses in a 24-hour period. There should be at least a 4-6 hour gap between each dose. Do not use it for more than three days without consulting your doctor. More than 250 mg/kg can lead to toxicity and may be life-threatening. Overdose can cause significant liver and kidney damage. Inform your doctor immediately if you believe your child received too much of the medicine, even if they seem well, as delayed, serious liver damage is possible.
Unless instructed by your doctor, maintain a normal balanced diet for your child while continuing with the medicine. Lack of nutrition can increase the risk of medicinal toxicity.
Store this medicine in a dry place at room temperature, away from children’s reach.
Paracliff 250 Oral Suspension should be used cautiously if your child has malnutrition, G6PD deficiency, liver disease, or any medicinal allergy. Ensure to share your child’s full medical history with their doctor for proper evaluation and assessment of the medicine's suitability.
Paracliff 250 Oral Suspension typically does not interfere with vaccine ingredients or cause reactions in children who have just received a vaccine. However, it's best to let the child recover from any current illness before administering the vaccine and ensure their recovery before initiating the vaccination process.
