Frequently asked questions

What is Papilon Tablet MR?

Papilon Tablet MR is a combination medication containing Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. It is used to relieve muscle pain, with Chlorzoxazone acting as a muscle relaxant on the central nervous system, and Diclofenac and Paracetamol reducing the production of prostaglandins, which cause pain and inflammation.

Is it safe to use Papilon Tablet MR?

Papilon Tablet MR is generally safe for most patients, but it may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, and sleepiness. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any persistent problems due to the medication.

Can I stop taking Papilon Tablet MR when my pain is relieved?

Papilon Tablet MR should be continued for the duration advised by your doctor. However, it can be discontinued if you are using it for short-term pain relief.

Can the use of Papilon Tablet MR cause nausea and vomiting?

Yes, Papilon Tablet MR can cause nausea and vomiting. If you experience nausea, take the medication with milk, food, or antacids. Avoid consuming fatty or fried foods with this medication. If you vomit, drink plenty of water or other fluids in small, frequent sips. Consult your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, such as dark-colored and strong-smelling urine, and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medication without consulting your doctor.

Can the use of Papilon Tablet MR cause dizziness?
