It helps treat these conditions by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, thereby relieving symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. The medication combines two active ingredients: Domperidone, a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, and Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production. While effective, it is important to use this medication under medical supervision due to potential side effects and interactions with other drugs. Long-term use may lead to weak bones and mineral deficiencies, so adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium is recommended.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Pantomax D 10mg/40mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Take Pantomax D 10mg/40mg Tablet one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning. Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Pantomax D 10mg/40mg Tablet for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention. Long-term use of Pantomax D 10mg/40mg Tablet can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor. Incorporate the following lifestyle changes to prevent acidity and heartburn: eat regular meals, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy and fatty fried food, lose weight if you are obese, consider giving up smoking, don't drink too much alcohol, and do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal.
