Pandon D 30mg/40mg Capsule SR is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux), dyspepsia (indigestion), and gastritis. It helps treat these conditions by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, thereby relieving symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen. Long-term use may lead to weak bones and mineral deficiencies, so adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium is recommended.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Pandon D 30mg/40mg Capsule SR is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Pandon D 30mg/40mg Capsule SR is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, helping in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Take Pandon D 30mg/40mg Capsule SR one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning. Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Pandon D 30mg/40mg Capsule SR for 14 days. Long-term use can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor. Incorporate lifestyle changes to prevent acidity and heartburn: eat regular meals, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy and fatty fried food, lose weight if obese, quit smoking, limit alcohol intake, and do not go to bed immediately after meals.
