Introduction

Paingesic Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer than recommended by your doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Paingesic Tablet is to be taken with food.

Paingesic Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Magnesium Trisilicate which relieve cold symptoms. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Magnesium Trisilicate is an inorganic salt that neutralizes the excess acid in the stomach.

Paingesic Tablet is used to get relief from the symptoms of common cold. Do not take Paingesic Tablet with any other medicine containing (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first. Stick to simple meals and avoid fatty or spicy foods to avoid nausea after taking Paingesic Tablet. Along with taking Paingesic Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief: Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
