How it works

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a protein that promotes the growth of new blood vessels. In certain eye diseases, abnormal blood vessels start growing under the retina, leading to fluid leakage, bleeding, and damage to the central part of the retina called the macula. This can result in severe vision loss and distortion of central vision. Pagenax Solution for Injection blocks the activity of the VEGF protein. By inhibiting VEGF, the medication reduces the growth and leakage of abnormal blood vessels in the retina.

Inform your eye doctor immediately if you experience any signs of infection such as redness, pain, or discharge from the eye. If you experience symptoms of an allergic reaction such as hives, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.
