Introduction

Oxyspray 50mcg Nasal Spray contains Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride as its active ingredient, which is a direct-acting sympathomimetic that helps to reduce nasal congestion by constricting blood vessels in the nasal mucosa. It also has an osmotic effect that reduces swelling and inflammation. This medication is used to treat nasal decongestion and provides relief from discomfort and inactivity caused by blocked noses and rhinitis.

For both adults and children, spray 1-3 doses into each nostril twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

Oxymetazoline hydrochloride, the active ingredient, has a vasoconstrictor effect on mucosal blood vessels when applied topically, reducing the edema of the nasal mucosa and clearing the nose.
