Oxcure 150mg Tablet is used to treat and prevent epilepsy (seizures). It helps control seizures but does not cure epilepsy.

Introduction

Oxcure 150mg Tablet may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. The dose and frequency will be decided by your doctor to control your symptoms effectively. It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at the same time each day. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tiredness, drowsiness, unsteadiness, and low sodium levels in the blood. Serious side effects like skin rash or redness should be reported to a doctor immediately. Long-term use may lead to osteoporosis and increased risk of fractures. It may also cause suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Consult your doctor if you have heart, kidney, or liver problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol as it can increase side effects and the risk of seizures.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. It can be taken with or without food but is better taken at a fixed time.

Oxcure 150mg Tablet is an antiepileptic medication that controls seizures by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of nerve cells in the brain.

Take your medication regularly as directed by your doctor as missing doses can trigger seizures. Do not change the brand of your medicine and ensure you have enough medicine. Practice yoga every day. Get enough sleep at nighttime. Limit screen time such as mobile/laptop use. Take your medication on time. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. It may increase the risk of low sodium levels in the blood. Inform your doctor if you develop difficulty concentrating, memory problems, confusion, weakness, and unsteadiness. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may increase the seizure frequency.
