Ovatel Reliable Fertility Test is a reusable fertility monitor and predictor that uses saliva instead of urine to determine when a woman is close to ovulation. It is a simple and effective at-home fertility test that helps plan pregnancy by guiding on days of ovulation.

Collect a small amount of fresh saliva from under your tongue, place it on the lens, allow it to air-dry completely, and look through the lens to see the results.

The science behind Ovatel is that estrogen is transmitted to the saliva from the bloodstream and causes a reaction that makes the saliva crystallise upon drying. As the estrogen peaks during the fertile window, you will see more and more crystals in the sample, and right before ovulation, the estrogen level is so high that the crystals will make a pattern that looks like a fern leaf.
