Introduction
Osteoapt GM Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time. How it works
Osteoapt GM Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Diacerein, Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium Chloride, Methyl Sulfonyl Methane, and Methylcobalamin which relieve osteoarthritis symptoms. Diacerein and Glucosamine Sulfate Potassium Chloride are proteoglycan synthesis stimulators whereas Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) is a nutritional supplement. Together they help in building cartilage (soft tissue that cushions the joints) leading to joint repair. They also lower inflammation (swelling) of the joints. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which has pain relieving action.

You have been prescribed Osteoapt GM Tablet for the treatment of joint pain. Inform your doctor if you have a history of being allergic to shellfish. You will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level while taking Osteoapt GM Tablet. Inform your doctor if you are taking any blood thinners like warfarin or if you have any scheduled surgery. Do light exercise or take physical therapy to strengthen muscles around the affected joint and manage your weight along with taking this medication.
