Ospas 40mg/100mg Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of abdominal pain. It works effectively to reduce abdominal pain, bloating, discomfort, and cramps by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and gut. It also blocks certain chemical messengers that cause pain, inflammation, and fever.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Ospas 40mg/100mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Ospas 40mg/100mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Drotaverine and Nimesulide. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves spasms associated with smooth muscles. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

You have been prescribed Ospas 40mg/100mg Tablet to get relief from abdominal pain. Take Ospas 40mg/100mg Tablet with or straight after a meal or snack to reduce the risk of stomach upset. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Drink plenty of water while taking Ospas 40mg/100mg Tablet in case you experience diarrhea as its side-effect. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake, and sugarless candy may help. If you develop any new symptoms or if your symptoms get worse, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice.
