Oshin Roz Oral Suspension is used to treat acute diarrhea caused by bacterial infections in children.
Oral Suspension
Oshin Roz Oral Suspension is usually given to children to treat acute diarrhea caused due to bacterial infections. It helps relieve the symptoms, severity, and duration of illness by killing the diarrhea-causing microorganism and reducing the loss of water and electrolytes.
Loose watery diarrhea can lead to loss of fluids and essential salts from your child's body. Make sure to replenish this in the form of ORS (Oral rehydration solution) to combat dehydration.
No common side effects listed.
Oshin Roz Oral Suspension contains two medicines: Racecadotril and ofloxacin. Racecadotril is an enkephalinase inhibitor that has anti-secretory effects. This means that this medicine reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. As a result the amount of fluid lost from the body in diarrhea reduces. On the other hand Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and causing infection.
