How should Oscob Plus 1000mcg Injection be administered?
Oscob Plus 1000mcg Injection can be injected directly into a vein (intravenously) or into a muscle (intramuscularly). The usual dose is one ampoule containing 0.5 mg of Oscob Plus 1000mcg Injection, and it's administered three times weekly. After two months, an additional dose of 0.5 mg of Oscob Plus 1000mcg Injection is given every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken while administering Oscob Plus 1000mcg Injection?
Avoid injecting the medication at the same site each time. If you experience intense pain when injecting or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different site.
