Orogard SG Gel is a combination of two medicines used to treat mouth ulcers, reducing pain, swelling, redness, and burning sensation.
Dental Gel
Orogard SG Gel should be used as directed by your doctor and in the dose and duration advised. Apply it only in the mouth with clean hands. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. This medicine is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience any allergic reactions such as itching, swelling, rashes, etc., you should consult the doctor immediately.
Check the label for directions before use. Gently apply the gel to the affected area inside your mouth. Refrain from eating or drinking immediately after applying the gel.
Orogard SG Gel is a combination of two medicines: Choline Salicylate and Lidocaine. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain which decreases the pain sensation.
Orogard SG Gel helps relieve pain and inflammation caused by mouth ulcers sore gums and denture irritation Apply it over the affected area with a clean fingertip three to four times a day or as directed by your doctor Stop using this medicine and inform your doctor if any irritation occurs
Avoid eating for 1 hour after taking Orogard SG Gel because this medicine may impair your ability to swallow.
Keep this medicine in its original container, tightly sealed. Store according to the instructions provided on the product packaging or label. Do not consume the unused medicine; dispose of it properly to prevent accidental ingestion by pets, children, or other individuals.
