Orlica 60 Capsule is a medicine used in the treatment of obesity. It helps the body in blocking the absorption of fats from the small intestines and stomach.

Orlica 60 Capsule is a lipase inhibitor. It works in the stomach and small intestine by blocking the absorption of fat from food by blocking enzymes responsible for the breakdown of fat. It is generally taken orally 3 times daily during (or up to 1 hour after) each main meal containing fat. It can also be taken up to 2 hours after midmeal. It works best when it is used along with regular physical activity and a healthy diet. It should not be taken for a long term unless your doctor tells you to do so. For better efficacy of the medicine, fat-rich foods should be avoided along with the medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Orlica 60 Capsule is to be taken with food. Avoid Orlica 60 Capsule with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter, and meat.

It's not advisable to exceed six months of taking Orlica 60 Capsule. Please consult your doctor and discontinue medication if you do not experience any weight reduction after twelve weeks on treatment with Orlica 60 Capsule.
Do not take Orlica 60 Capsule if you are allergic to it, have difficulty absorbing food (chronic malabsorption syndrome), or suffer from cholestasis (a condition where bile flow from the liver is blocked). Avoid Orlica 60 Capsule if you are currently on cyclosporine medication or blood thinning drugs like warfarin. Additionally, avoid taking it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Maintain a low-calorie, low-fat diet while on Orlica 60 Capsule. High-fat meals may increase the likelihood of adverse side effects. Focus on consuming more vegetables and fruits in limited portions, eat regularly without skipping meals.
While not interfering with Orlica 60 Capsule's function, consider reducing or eliminating alcohol consumption. Alcohol contains calories and can hinder weight management goals.
Orlica 60 Capsule begins working within 24 to 48 hours of taking it. You may notice the formation of stools containing fat. However, weight reduction might take a week or two, with results varying between individuals.
Regular exercise can significantly enhance weight loss and long-term weight maintenance. Combining an exercise program with a low-calorie diet will ensure sustainable weight control, even after discontinuing the medication.
Orlica 60 Capsule is classified as a lipase inhibitor. It targets fat consumed through the food you eat. This medicine inhibits approximately 25% of ingested fat from being absorbed, resulting in its passage through stools and eventual removal.
Take three capsules of Orlica 60 at a time before, during, or up to one hour after meals. Always consume it with water. Ensure your meal comprises low-calorie ingredients, including the absence of fat.
Set a realistic goal for weight reduction. Aim for a 5-10% decrease in your starting weight. This process should be gradual and steady, aiming to reduce 0.5 kg of weight per week.
