How it works
Orasep Gel is a combination of two medicines: Choline Salicylate and Tannic Acid. Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) which cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the mouth. Tannic Acid is an astringent that works by forming a protective layer over mouth sores while exerting antiviral and antibacterial effects.
