This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Aureus and S. epidermidis, some species of Streptococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Proteus mirabilis, Morganella morganii, most Proteus vulgaris strains, Haemophilus influenza, and H. aegyptius, Moraxella lacunata, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, and some Neisseria species. Your doctor will determine suitability based on your individual situation.
The treatment duration for Optob Eye Drop is determined by your doctor, considering the severity of the infection. For mild to moderate infections, you may be advised to use 1-2 drops four times a day for a period of 1-2 days. In severe cases, your doctor may prescribe administering 2 drops every hour. Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and frequency. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage or duration.
Before use, wash your hands thoroughly. Avoid touching the dropper tip against your eye or any other surfaces. Tilt your head slightly and apply one drop directly into your eye. Hold your eyes open for 2-3 minutes with your head down to avoid blinking or squinting. Gently press your fingertip to the inner corner of your eye for approximately 1 minute to prevent fluid draining into your tear duct. If you use more than one drop, wait 5 minutes before applying the subsequent drop. Wait at least 10 minutes before administering any other prescribed eye drops.
