Capsule PR
Optipan DSR Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux), dyspepsia (indigestion), and gastritis. It helps treat these conditions by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, thereby relieving symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. The medication combines two active ingredients: Domperidone, which increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, and Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid. While effective, long-term use can lead to weak bones and mineral deficiencies. Consult your doctor for a comprehensive treatment plan.
Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Optipan DSR Capsule is to be taken on an empty stomach.
Optipan DSR Capsule is a combination of Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid, helping to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Take Optipan DSR Capsule one hour before the meal, preferably in the morning. Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Optipan DSR Capsule for 14 days. Long-term use can cause weak bones and mineral deficiencies. Ensure adequate intake of calcium and magnesium. Incorporate lifestyle changes to prevent acidity and heartburn: eat regular meals, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy and fatty foods, lose weight if obese, quit smoking, limit alcohol, and avoid lying down immediately after meals.
