The gel contains dexpanthenol, a form of vitamin B5, which helps to reduce pain and inflammation, as well as treat dry eyes. It has a cooling and soothing effect on the eyes, contributing to a better wetting of the ocular surface. Opthoblis Gel is also used to prevent and relieve consequences of wearing contact lenses, such as erosion of the cornea, inflammation, and burning sensation.
