Onerve -SR Capsule is a combination medicine used in the treatment of neuropathic pain. It calms the damaged or overactive nerves by acting on the brain, thereby decreasing the pain sensation. It also helps in the regeneration of damaged nerves in the body.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Onerve -SR Capsule may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Onerve -SR Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Pregabalin, Methylcobalamin and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a naturally occurring fatty acid which has a protective effect on brain and nerve tissue. Together they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).

You have been prescribed Onerve -SR Capsule for treating and preventing nerve pain. It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down to lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Onerve -SR Capsule as it may cause excessive sleepiness. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
