While accidental overdose is uncommon, it's crucial to inform your child's physician immediately in case of an overdose. Excessive intake can potentially lead to severe side effects like excessive drowsiness, agitation, rapid heartbeat, hypertension, flushing, dilated pupils, sweating, involuntary muscle jerks, uncontrolled eye movements, overactive reflexes, and seizures. These symptoms collectively signify serotonin syndrome. If any of these occur, seek immediate medical attention from a physician.
Onden 2mg Oral Drops should be stored at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. It is also essential to keep the medication out of reach and sight of children.
Generally, Onden 2mg Oral Drops should not be given concurrently with antidepressants, apomorphine, anti-migraine medications, painkillers, heart medications, or antibiotics like linezolid. It's advisable to discuss all of your child's medical history with the physician before making a decision about medication combinations.
If you notice symptoms indicative of serotonin syndrome, such as irregular heartbeat, green-colored vomiting, difficulty passing gas, pale skin and eyes, dark urine, restlessness, and insomnia, contact your child's physician immediately.
It is crucial to consult with the physician before giving any additional medications alongside these. Combining Onden 2mg Oral Drops with medications intended for depression or migraine treatment can lead to serotonin syndrome.
