Omprasol D 10mg/20mg Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) by relieving symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, and irritation. It neutralizes stomach acid and promotes the easy passage of gas to reduce discomfort. The medicine is a combination of Domperidone and Omeprazole, where Domperidone increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, and Omeprazole reduces the amount of acid in the stomach. It is generally well-tolerated but may cause side effects like watery diarrhea, fever, or persistent stomach pain. Long-term use can lead to weak bones and mineral deficiencies.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Omprasol D 10mg/20mg Capsule is to be taken on an empty stomach, preferably one hour before a meal.

It is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time. Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days. Long-term use can cause weak bones and deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor.
