Introduction

Olpit Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. It is also part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen. Olpit Oral Suspension is an effective medicine in targeting the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Olpit Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.

Olpit Oral Suspension is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. These defects hamper the multiplication of the bacteria and affect its survival as well, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.

Never use this medicine for such conditions Discontinue Olpit Oral Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing
