Introduction

Olitabs F 20 mg/5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.

nausea vomiting diarrhea constipation dry mouth muscle rigidity restlessness tremor delayed ejaculation anorgasmia (decreased orgasm) and low sexual desire

Alcohol Warning

You should avoid alcohol while taking Olitabs F 20 mg/5 mg Tablet as it may worsen certain side effects.

Olitabs F 20 mg/5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Fluoxetine and Olanzapine. They work by increasing the activity of certain chemicals called serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine in the brain. These chemicals help relieve the symptoms of bipolar depression.

You have been prescribed Olitabs F 20 mg/5 mg Tablet for the treatment of bipolar disorder with depression. Take it in the evening as it can make you feel sleepy. It may take 4 to 6 weeks to experience the full benefits of the medication. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. It may cause increase in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides (fat). Eat healthy and exercise regularly.
