Introduction

Ofpure Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. It is also part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen. The medicine is available in a suspension form and is effective against a variety of bacterial infections.

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.

Ofpure Suspension is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. This hampers the multiplication of the bacteria and affects its survival, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading.

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Ofpure Suspension Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses, never use this medicine for such conditions Discontinue Ofpure Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing
