Ofloxacure 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic that helps treat bacterial infections by stopping the growth of bacteria. It is used to treat infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin, soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia). Common side effects include nausea, stomach pain, and diarrhea, which usually resolve on their own. However, if these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor. Severe allergic reactions are rare but require urgent medical attention. Inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney disease or if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Ofloxacure 200mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Ofloxacure 200mg Tablet works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase, which prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Your doctor has prescribed Ofloxacure 200mg Tablet to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Discontinue Ofloxacure 200mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
