How it works
Oflotas MZ Oral Suspension is a combination of three active ingredients. The antibiotic ingredients, ofloxacin and metronidazole, interfere with the genetic material of bacteria by impairing its DNA, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing its growth and stopping the infection. Simethicone, a gas-absorbing agent, binds with gas bubbles produced as a result of the other two ingredients or as a result of some other problem, aiding in the removal of gases and providing relief in stomach pain and bloating.

Your child may have an altered taste or furry tongue (coating of Oflotas MZ Oral Suspension on tongue) after taking Oflotas MZ Oral Suspension. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Oflotas MZ Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.
