Oral Suspension
Ofloriv Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. It is also part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen. The medicine is available in an oral suspension form and is effective against a variety of bacterial infections.
Ofloriv Oral Suspension should be given to children as directed by their doctor. It is important to follow the dosage instructions carefully and not to double the dose if a dose is missed.
Ofloriv Oral Suspension is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA. This prevents the bacteria from multiplying and spreading the infection.
Do not panic if you forget to give the medicine. Give it as soon as you remember unless your child's doctor has advised a specific regime. Do not double the dose to catch up. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Ofloriv Oral Suspension. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water if diarrhea develops as a side effect. Discontinue Ofloriv Oral Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing.
